Dr. Andrew Vo

He considers his career as an endodontist to be a rewarding one and takes pride in ensuring that his patients return to their regular routines, free of pain and reassured by his root canal expertise.

Dr. Vo earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, where his interests in dentistry and Wahoo basketball began. He continued his education at the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He then commissioned as an active duty general dentist in the United States Air Force, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry, while earning the prestigious designation of top resident in Endodontics.

While serving on active duty, he was awarded Company Grade Officer of the Quarter, served as interim Flight Commander and revitalized the endodontic capabilities of his clinic. 

Following his service, Dr. Vo completed his endodontic specialty training at the highly renowned Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, where he worked alongside nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty. Albert Einstein’s Department of Endodontics is well known for leading the adoption of advanced technology to increase the safety, predictability and efficiency of root canal therapy.  They were early adopters of cutting edge technology such as the dental operating microscope and 3D imaging. These technologies have become almost ubiquitous in endodontic specialty care. More recently, they were the first to train residents using laser activated irrigation.

An active member of the American Association of Endodontists,American Dental

Association, and Virginia Dental Association, Dr. Vo has also volunteered dental services to underserved communities through Mission of Mercy Virginia and North Carolina.

During his residency, Dr. Vo volunteered at Philadelphia’s Project HOME to provide specialty endodontic care to those living in poverty and the homeless.

Away from his patients, Dr. Vo leads an active lifestyle, with hobbies like running, indoor rock climbing, and snowboarding. He even experiments with roasting raw coffee beans.
